Cornell's New President

I got to cover the inauguration for The Sun yesterday, and my article made the paper today. Check it out, it was a lot of fun to have the opportunity to cover such a momentous event. Hopefully President Skorton will be around longer than President Lehman was.

The Fifth of September

Happy Birthday to everyone out there who, like me, was born on the best day of the year, September 5.

In other news, Facebook has redesigned their home page to have this ridiculous "news feed" thing... it's very hard to use and honestly, a little creepy (I don't really need to know every little thing that each one of my friends did on any given day). Although I feel for them, because I've been (and currently am still) on the developer's side of the fence, holding back the angry masses reticent to change.

To quote one of the angry ranters on Cornellsun.com, "I know it's hard to swallow your pride and take a step back, but in this case I really think it's the right thing to do." (See, nonconstructive criticism like this IS good for something.)
