A New Sun Rises

In May, as many of you may remember, we launched a new website for The Cornell Daily Sun. That site was the product of twenty-eight weeks of hard and tedious labor on the part of a handful of programmers and designers, and we were very happy with the final product.

Unfortunately, our viewers were not. The redesigned site was largely disliked by our vocal public. So, we went back to the drawing board with hopes of making things right again. We listened to all of our feedback--vitriolic and otherwise--and came up with a new look.

Today, the Sun has risen on this newly-redesigned site, which hopefully will better serve the public. Have a look at it at CornellSun.com.

Another Year

Well, got back to Cornell on Sunday. The room here in Cascadilla is small, but it's a good room in good repair and it's definetly liveable. It was good to meet my new roomate Gabe and to see everyone else back on campus (okay, almost everyone; there are a few holdouts yet.)

So, I'm already back in The Sun. Cornell was ranked 12th by U.S. News and World Report and I did the write-up on that. Here it is if you're interested.
